If we as women want to be successful in whatever it is you want to do, then you’ve got to find out how it is done. You don’t have to go recreate the wheel. The hard parts been done for you already. You just need to follow the track on how to get there because the roads have already been paved. You may have to research certain ideas, peoples or places, but you take away the things that are relevant to you and your situation and apply them to your life.
If you want to be successful, then surround yourself with successful people. Query them at every opportunity and find out what they did and how. Understand their best practices. You can go out and make connections of your own; network with business owners and partners. If you tell them what you’re after you’d be pleasantly surprised that most would be happy to talk about what they have done and mistakes they have made etc…. You need to ask the questions to get the answers.
Everyone won’t welcome you with open arms. Some people feel that they had to fight their way there, then so will you. They won’t be your free ride, but that is ok. Move on to the next one because someone will recognize in you a spirit driven to succeed and realize that they were once in that very same place.
The most important this is to not give up on your dreams. The year is not over yet. So get yourself back on the fast track to success.
