Volunteer, anyone!

 

Making a Difference from where you stand.

How many of us would like to volunteer but don't have the time or energy? 

 

Well, we've found a great site that allows you to volunteer when you want.  Isn't that great!  Best of all you can get involved and do the things that are relevant to you.  Volunteering is a "labor of love", the only reward you'll ever see is the happiness and hope you've instilled in another human being.  For some, that's more than enough. Think of it like a garden. It's wonderful when you plant your garden from seedlings and as time goes by you watch it and see it flowering into something useful; whether its a flower and we admire it for its beauty or a vegetable that we can eat and our bodies benefit from it. Watching it grow and become useful and relevant to you or someone else. 

That's the reward for your labor. Just knowing that you've touched another life and made a difference in it is worth the effort. The best part about it is that those seedlings grow up and go on to help others.  Truly, isn't that what it's about?

 

If you're like me, then volunteering has always been a thought in the back or your mind.  Something you really want to do, but just never had the time.  Volunteering is something that any of us can do provided we have the time, right? 

 

You can find something you're interested in doing and do it when you like.  They've got several different opportunities from Homelessness to Literacy pertaining to adults or children and teens.

That should be our premise in volunteering and helping others in general.
